Heather Anne Thomas (born Heather Anne Thomas) is a American writer, actor and activist who became well-known for her character Jody Banks on the Adventure The Fall Guy. She started her career in television when she was a child, when she became one of the hosts of the NBC show Talking with a Giant. Following her graduation in theatre and film from ULCA in Film and Theatre, she made guest appearances on TV programs like California Fever', Co-Ed Fever' and The Misadventures Of Sheriff Lobo'. In 1981, she made her mark when she was cast as the leading actress on "The fall Guy". The show run for five seasons, became well-known in several states and also made Thomas an international household name. In the intervening years Thomas' appearances on numerous TV shows and in films. Her most notable movie role was the part she played in the 1987 film "Ford: The Man and the Machine The Man and the Machine' which won her the Gemini Award nomination. In the following years, Thomas started focusing more on her private life, and decided to stop acting at the age of 28 in 1998.
