Aurora

Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval from music journalists and media. Half the World Away - by Oasis is a cover for John Lewis' Christmas ad as well as Nature Boy - by Nat King Cole have already been two covers worth noting that the artist has done. Katy Perry's endorsement of her track Runaway via a blog post added to the musician's acknowledgement. Celebrate the special occasion. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is that of finding a piano in her attic and being fascinated by the sound it could produce. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged Aurora to study music, not as a job or a hobby and as a way to improve. Her parents advised her to compose. Her influences include renowned authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her love of Bjork's style. After her mother said that the songs she wrote could be used to not make her famous rather to help people to see the value of themselves and their impact on the world, she started singing them in public. Her mother suggested that she sing her songs in public to help people realize their importance and the ways they could impact the world. The family did not be aware until 14. Aurora did not have a set goal. She says she just likes writing music. Music is her most preferred way of feeling something.
